"If I promise that I do not have hantavirus, will you let me stay?" said the deer mouse trapped in the onion bag jail of their own creation. "Can you also not poop on my food?" "It is my nature."

I like your feedback because maybe now I don't read it? And give another crack at positivity but we all know how that goes

doom reading update April 13, 2025 at 4:07:46 PM

Finished the reading and... I hated it. Full rationale on my goodreads. I think the guy is a bit of an idiot and thinks he is a genius. A shill perhaps.

Ah, yes. The classic indomitable spirit of the mighty pigeon. Source of both resilience and frustration. Sharing is caring. I pray that our clumsy pigeon friend has learned of this importance, or that they had a moment of weakness that led them to act out of nature. Either way, I wish you good fortune in bird feeding to come. Yours in ornithological appreciation, Crank(^∀^)

To the duke of alburg April 2, 2025 at 5:33:25 AM

Dear Duke: As a pigeon aficionado myself, I quite relate to your time befriending birds (ideally pigeons). I am the proud new(ish) owner of a bird feeder hanging outside my bedroom window, and have found myself in uncharted territory. That is to say, upset with a pigeon. After enjoying a few weeks of sparrows, finches, chickadees, and juncos, I come home to find my feeder decimated and unusually quiet. After refilling, I sit back to observe the (what I assumed were) exceptionally ravenous songbirds. Instead, I am greeted by an entitled, clumsy pigeon gulping down my food and refusing to share with the little guys. What the heck! As of the past few days, pigeon seems to have moved on and I hope it sticks. With any luck, he is heading your way. Better for all of us, I think.

The cost was quite high, and despite your payment completion I believe you to hold continued debt as the toll of the food impacted us unequally. Unclear how you will repay, but know it is in my mind (and thus we are friends)

hi henweeeeeeeee

he March 31, 2025 at 6:17:34 PM

how much did that frow up inducer cost you yesterday? May I pay half yet maintain this friendship? Duly anticipating your correspondence in kind.

duke of alburg March 31, 2025 at 3:03:10 AM

I am floored. Greeted by your kind pigeon guardian on the forepage, I knew that I was welcome and safe in this place. Today I sat on a park bench with my safflower seed — where I find myself less often than I would like — looking for kind birds (ideally pigeons) to befriend. My joy was dashed as quickly as it took flight. The rain came, washing away the two crows who had joined me, singing as I tossed them spare seed, "ko-aw, k---ko-aw." The future holds the promise of birds, new and old, to befriend. I wish you well in your endeavors - website, bird, or otherwise. Yours in Birding, The Duke of Alburg, a sentient Jar of rusty Coins, Crank
